10 Steps to Successful Oil Paintings with Kristen Stamper
Want to paint from life, a still life, or outdoors with great results? How do you choose and crop your subject then put it across without getting lost in the details? This is for beginning and intermediate painters.
This is a workshop that can take you to the next level AND provide freedom of expression. All that is required is practice. Expect to learn when to make specific decisions as you develop your painting, then let go and play. Paint and problem solve through the process together with your instructor painting from the same subject. From composition and color mixing, to personal expression and finishing details, build and master skills with this step-wise approach which allows you to establish pattern and value, then relax and have fun painting.
• Work with a positive instructor who offers a lot of individual attention
• Learn with an artist who demonstrates the methods while you are painting together
• Acrylic painters are welcome, these techniques work well for acrylics
