SUMMARY:26th Annual Mabel B. Annis Student Art Competition and Show
DESCRIPTION:This annual student art competition features works by 7th – 12th-grade art students from Bartholomew\, Brown\, Greene\, Jackson\, Johnson\, Morgan\, and Monroe County schools. Home school students may participate if they are under the guidance of a licensed Art Teacher.\n\nThe Competition is judged and includes six categories:\nPainting | Drawing | 3-D | Print | Photography | Video \n\nTeachers\, please email brncagal@gmail.com with your intent to participate by March 25th. Please email a list of your participating artists by no later than April 1st.\nThere will be over $2500 awarded in prize money and Indiana Heritage Arts will be presenting a “$250 IHA Teacher of the Year” award in both the Junior High and Senior High Divisions. In addition\, a stipend will be awarded to every participating teacher. \nReception and awards will be on Sunday\, April 14th at 2:00 pm with awards presented at 3:00 pm

DESCRIPTION:Indiana Heritage Arts will be hosting a special screening of “Hoosier Masters\,” the IHA Permanent Collection video at the Brown County Public Library on Tuesday\, May 14 at 6 pm.\nHear the inspirational stories of three IHA artists whose works are represented in the IHA Permanent Collection. Learn about the 46-year history of IHA\, which has evolved into one of Indiana’s most prestigious art organizations. This will be a special evening for all art lovers! \nGenerous hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served.\nRESERVATIONS REQUIRED.
