The Brown County Art Gallery is an important venue for those who want to buy or sell early Indiana Art. Consignment art is available on a regular basis with new items arriving monthly. Most works are fresh to the market. The commission charged on sales benefits the Gallery Foundation and is a major source of income.
Printmaker, sculptor and musician JAMES SAMPSON spent three decades as an art educator and later in life continued to teach and mentor artists outside of traditional academia.
Proceeds from the sale of Sampson’s work go to the James Sampson Memorial Scholarship Fund at Indiana State University.
