Roy Boswell Workshop: Creating Form and Depth – The 1,2,3 Read and More

June 1 · 8:00 am5:00 pm

How would your artwork transform if you could break away from flat and boring or busy jumbled shapes, and start creating images with form and depth? Join us on a transformative journey where you turn what was once a struggle into an asset.
Bid farewell to the limitations imposed by busy reference material and a lack of form knowledge. In this workshop, conducted by Artist Roy Boswell, you will acquire the skills to alter and invent form in your paintings, understand the 1,2,3 read, and build up your box logic, empowering you to create deep and rich paintings that look like you could walk into them. This will elevate your work
and create dynamically formed art whenever you put paint to canvas.

Gain a higher level of mastery over your creative process and bring your unique vision to life. This will help you unlock
your potential and take you down the next path of your artistic journey.
By the end of the workshop, you will have sketches and small painting studies of these different ideas, plus a small painting using your reference material applying what you learn about depth and form.
Bring plenty of landscape photo reference material, printed photos would be great but from your phone or tablet will also work.
