The historic Brown County Art Gallery is home to Indiana’s early printmakers with many of them represented in the Permanent Collection, including the magnificent Gustave Baumann Collection which holds every image this world-renowned woodcut artist created during his stay in Nashville. And starting July 23rd, current Indiana Printmakers will fill the building. The exhibit is open now and will run through August 21. Admission is free.

We haven’t forgotten the past! The Gallery’s entire historic print collection is on exhibit including all the Indiana Baumann’s. We will also be revealing two new Baumann acquisitions. It’s a must see for Baumann fans.

The Art Association Summer Show is open and the IHA Rapp Gallery is filled with new art as well. There is lots to see at the Brown County Art Gallery this summer.

Opening August 27 — Nancy Noël: Indiana Artist, Pioneer, Superstar
A major exhibition and sale of original work, museum grade prints, and a recreation of her Zionsville Studio. A dazzling exhibition for Noël fans and a chance for all art lovers to learn about the life and works of this Indiana artistic Superstar.
